About Us

This website is operated by Equihandee (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms comply with:

  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015
  • The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
  • UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018

 

Orders & Contract Formation

Our order process allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting your order. Please take the time to read and check your order carefully.

After placing an order, you will receive an automatic email acknowledging receipt. This email does not constitute acceptance of your order.

A legally binding contract is formed only when we dispatch your goods and send you a dispatch confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:

  • The product is unavailable
  • There has been a pricing or product description error
  • We suspect fraudulent activity

 

Pricing

All prices are listed in GBP (£).

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. However, changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

Prices exclude customs duties and international import taxes.

 

Payment

We accept payment via secure third-party payment providers including PayPal and major debit/credit cards.

We do not store or have access to your full card details.

Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched.

 

Product Use & Safety Disclaimer

Equihandee products are designed to assist riders but do not eliminate inherent risks associated with horse riding.

Horse riding is a high-risk activity. Users accept that:

  • Horses are unpredictable animals
  • No product can guarantee prevention of injury
  • Proper supervision is essential at all times
  • Riders must wear appropriate safety equipment, including approved riding helmets

All Equihandee products must be used under appropriate adult supervision.

Products are not a substitute for qualified riding instruction or proper safety equipment.

Equihandee accepts no liability for:

  • Injury, loss, damage or fatality resulting from misuse
  • Improper fitting of products
  • Failure to follow safety instructions
  • Use outside intended purpose

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence where such exclusion would be unlawful.

We strongly recommend that all users carry appropriate personal and public liability insurance.

 

Product Care & Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and safety of your Equihandee product, you must:

  • Inspect the product before every use
  • Check stitching, webbing, fastenings and hardware
  • Discontinue use immediately if damage or excessive wear is identified
  • Follow all cleaning and care instructions provided (wipe with a damp cloth)

Products must not be:

  • Machine dried
  • Exposed to excessive heat
  • Stored damp
  • Altered or repaired without written approval

Failure to properly maintain or inspect the product may increase risk of failure during use.

Equihandee accepts no liability for damage or injury resulting from failure to inspect or maintain products correctly.

 

Sizing & Fitting Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

  • Select the correct size
  • Ensure proper fitting before use
  • Adjust the product appropriately for the rider

All Equihandee products must be fitted securely and checked before every ride.

If you are unsure about sizing or fitting, you must contact us prior to use.

Improper sizing or incorrect fitting may increase the risk of injury.

Equihandee accepts no liability arising from incorrect sizing selection or improper fitting by the customer or third party.

By completing a purchase, you opt in to receive marketing communications from Equihandee, including:

  • Newsletters
  • Special offers
  • Product updates
